Accessibility Statement

WEARON is committed to making gowearon.com accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our baseline standard, and we work continuously to improve.
What we do
- Semantic HTML. Every page uses proper heading hierarchy, landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), and ARIA labels where native semantics are insufficient.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements — menu, search, cart, product variants, forms — are reachable and operable using only a keyboard. Focus indicators are visible.
- Colour contrast. Body text and UI elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Alternative text. Every product image, editorial photo, and icon has descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately.
- Form labels. All form inputs have visible labels and accessible error messages. Required fields are marked clearly.

Reduced motion. Animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query — if your system is set to reduce motion, ours will too. - Resizable text. Pages remain functional and readable when text is resized up to 200% in your browser.
Where we still fall short
We're not finished. Specific gaps we're working to close:
- Some third-party app embeds (Rivo loyalty widget, Klaviyo forms, Shopify Pay buttons) follow their own accessibility standards. We audit these annually and raise issues with the vendors.
- The Fabric Passport tooltips on product pages need richer ARIA support — planned for the next theme update.
- Live chat is not yet keyboard-fully-accessible.
Assistive technology
We test the site regularly with NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS screen readers, and with keyboard-only navigation. If you encounter a barrier we haven't caught, please tell us — we treat accessibility issues as urgent fixes.
