Greens
Green, the considered colour
Green has quietly become one of luxury fashion's most prominent palettes. Dazed has called green "the colour of the 2020s"; Bottega Veneta's parakeet, Loewe's military, and the broader sage-and-olive movement all sit in the same family.
Our greens stay on the earthy and considered side — sage in soft cotton-linen, olive in heavier knit, deep forest for satin and structured pieces. We avoid the loud emerald and bright lime registers, which date quickly.
How to wear
Green pairs cleanly with stone, ivory, and camel. It also reads beautifully against white in summer, and against deep brown or rust in autumn. Avoid pairing with bright pink or yellow — too much colour competing for attention.
The most current way to wear green is in tonal layers — sage cotton over olive knit — for the kind of "earth-tone uniform" The Cut has been tracking. Cross-shop with The Resort Edit for the warmest-weather greens.
